A common question is whether there is a Player animation mod Minecraft Bedrock version. The honest answer is no: Player Animation Mod is built for Minecraft: Java Edition, and Java mods do not load in Bedrock Edition.
Why Java mods do not work on Bedrock
Java Edition and Bedrock Edition are two separate games that share a name and style. Java Edition runs on Java, and loaders such as Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt inject mod code into it. Bedrock Edition is built on a different code base and does not run Java mod loaders or .jar mods at all.
Because Player Animation Mod is a Java library that changes how the Java Edition player model is posed, there is nothing for Bedrock to load.
What Bedrock players can use instead
Bedrock has its own customization system called add-ons, made of resource packs and behavior packs. Add-ons can define custom animations and animation controllers for entities using Bedrock's own formats. These are created and installed differently from Java mods, and they are not related to this library.
- Add-ons are installed by importing
.mcpackor.mcaddonfiles. - Some content is available through the in-game Marketplace.
- Always download add-ons from creators or platforms you trust.
Be careful with websites that claim to offer a Bedrock or PE port of a Java-only mod. If the original project does not list Bedrock, a file presented as one is not the same software.
Want this library? Use Java Edition
If you want mods that rely on Player Animation Mod, you need Minecraft: Java Edition on a computer, plus a supported loader. Our Java Edition guide explains how the library works there, and the download guide shows how to install it.
