Each new Minecraft release brings a wave of searches like Player animation mod 1.21.10. This page does not guess at a release that may or may not exist. Instead, it shows you how to check support for any 1.21 version yourself.
What we know about 1.21 support
The project's listings show builds for several versions in the 1.21 family, alongside 1.20, 1.19, 1.18 and 1.16. Coverage of the newest patch releases depends on the maintainers publishing a build for them. The original author has also stated that the project is no longer actively developed and that only major bug fixes are planned, so new versions may not receive builds.
We do not list a 1.21.10 build on this site because we cannot confirm that one exists. Always check the file's listed game version before installing.
How to check a file's game version
- Open the library's file list on CurseForge or Modrinth.
- Filter by your exact Minecraft version, for example 1.21.10.
- Filter by your loader: Fabric, NeoForge, Forge or Quilt.
- If a matching file appears, use that file. If not, there is no official build for that combination.
If there is no build for your version
- Do not force an older build. Loading a file built for another 1.21 release often crashes at startup.
- Check the dependent mod. Many mods have moved to a different animation library for newer versions. The README of this project points developers toward Player Animation Library (PAL) for new work.
- Use a supported version. If your modpack needs this exact library, run the Minecraft version it was built for.
Why patch versions matter
Even small updates such as 1.21.x patches can change rendering or model code. Library mods that touch the player model are sensitive to those changes, which is why a "close enough" file is not reliable.
Keep your setup stable
Match versions across the game, loader, library and dependent mods. When in doubt, follow the requirements on the dependent mod's page. For other versions, see our 1.20.1 guide, and for errors see troubleshooting.
